If you’re a fan of recent nerdy, hip, quirky, smart, fun, informative, or otherwise entertaining literature, I’m sure you already know about the fine people at McSweeney’s. In addition to publishing one amazing book after another, they stay involved in human rights issues, and give us recurring things like The Believer and Wholphin (recent talk about a newspaper has also surfaced). Like us, they see the importance of both print AND electronic formats. Heck, they might even be bigger fans of lists than us, or Will Sharp. We’re quite excited about their upcoming titles. To name just one, Dave Eggers’s The Wild Things is coming soon, a novel based loosely on Mauric Sendak’s storybook and the upcoming movie.
